RETHINKING TRANSIT
Everyone at NEORide is excited about the future of regional public transit in our area. We’re confident our vision will improve the quality of life in our community, spur economic development, promote the wise and extremely efficient use of taxpayer dollars, and enable an ever-growing segment of our population to enjoy the benefits of public transit.
The purpose of NEORide is to plan, promote, further, and enhance transportation options within the jurisdictions of Members and in the State of Ohio. This is done by encouraging cooperative arrangements and coordination action among the Members, and between the Members and other governmental agencies, private persons, corporations, or agencies.

In March 2024, NEORide, in collaboration with ODOT, hired Naomi Wells as the Small Urban Transit Coordinator.
