HOW TO JOIN
Membership is available to any transit agency or political subdivision.
New members must be a governmental entity to join. A Membership Resolution will need to be passed with their Board of Directors or other governing body approving the NEORide By-Laws and membership dues.
Membership Benefits:
NEORide is run and operated by public transit agencies.
We aim to provide opportunities to learn from other members and share ideas and resources. Here are a few ways in which your transit can consider participating:
-
Volunteer for the Executive Committee to handle ongoing business of NEORide including contract approvals, committee budgets and policy review and updates. Meetings are held bi-monthly and are held virtually.
-
Attend NEORide’s annual meeting and summit including members from across the country, vendors and key consultants.
-
Joint grant requests at the state and federal level. NEORide has already collectively received over $20 million in state and federal funds.
-
Access to over 20 competitively bid joint procurements and participate in new cooperative purchases.
-
Utilize professional services from NEORide including project management, grant writing and procurement support, IT technical assistance, and technical planning service.
